PLAN YOUR PURCHASES
To the degree possible before you arrive. Knowing the type of furniture you are looking for will help with any confusion you any feel when you see our large inventory.
OUR BUILDINGS ARE WAREHOUSES
Consequently, the temperature in our buildings is controlled by the temperature out of doors. In other words, it is hot in the summertime and cool in the winter. Dress accordingly and you will be more comfortable shopping with us. We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
MEASURE YOUR SPACES
Knowing the dimensions of the spaces that you have to work with can save time and. perhaps, a trip back home to check your measurements before purchasing. It is important to know the amount of space in your room when purchasing bigger items such as dining room sets, bedrooms sets, sofas or sectionals.
KNOW YOUR COLORS
Review the areas that you are furnishing, especially if you plan to buy upholstery. Pictures of the rugs, carpets, other flooring, walls and other furniture staying in your room will help in choosing the color and style of fabrics or leathers for the new pieces you will be buying, (Hint: The cameras in smart phones make this really easy to do these days.)
PREPARE TO TRANSPORT
Drive a vehicle capable of holding your new furniture and getting it safely to its new location. Of course, we can arrange delivery of your purchases but you can save money by doing it yourself. So think this through before coming to Society Hill. If there is a possibility that you may want to take something home directly from our showrooms, bring a truck and/or trailer sufficient to transport your new furniture.
